two.2.4) Description of the procurement
There are two purpose-build Domestic Abuse refuges in Central Bedfordshire that are owned by Grand Union Housing Association, providing 22 units of self-contained accommodation across the two locations. The service is for the provision of a housing management service to the refuges, according to an SLA with Grand Union Housing Association (see appendix A), provision of a specialist support service to adults living in the refuge, also to adults living in satellite ‘safe accommodation’, provision of counselling / therapeutic support to children and young people under 18 years of age living in the refuge and provision of a counselling service to adult refuge residents (from April 2023).
