Contract Period: The contract is intended to be for an initial 2 years with an option to extend on an annual basis for a further 3 years.
North Wales Police requires a 24-hour single call out service for vehicle recovery on each and every day of the year. North Wales Police are looking for a managed service provider to deliver the service, and will need to undertake all the call handling ensuring that they are suitably equipped and staffed by personnel preferably dedicated to the operation of the Contract.
This contract is being established by North Wales Police on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary, Cumbria Constabulary and Lincolnshire Constabulary. Each police force using this contract will be responsible for its own ordering, payment and day to day monitoring. Merseyside Police are considering joining the contract, however this decision will be made before award.
