The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) requires suppliers to undertake an evaluation of the (FaSS) this is required as part of the development and planning of an intervention in line with HM Treasury guidance

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

It is proposed to commence the project in May of 2021 for a period of twenty-two months. This will be divided into two separate periods and two separate work instructions, the first being from May 2021 to March 2022 (Year 1). This work instruction shall be concluded within the 2021/22 financial calendar year.

The contract will have the option to extend further, through a second work instruction (Year 2), to be undertaken between September 2022 and March 2023. This work instruction shall be concluded within the 2022/23 financial calendar year.

This invitation to tender for the evaluation is being commissioned as an integral part of the (FaSS). It is intended to support evidence gathering to demonstrate good value for money, public value for public goods, and the impact of spend.
