The British Council in collaboration with Mastercard Foundation is working on the Project for the Secondary Teachers English Language Improvement Rwanda (STELIR) for the Government of Rwanda to improve the teaching and learning of English to lower secondary school pupils. Under this project we will be testing and training up to 6,000 in-service and pre-service teachers working in state and government-aided Rwandan secondary schools. All teachers who test below CEFR level B1 will take a six-month, online English language course which aims to take them to a confident B1 level. For the teachers to access this course they will need hardware and internet connectivity. This tender is therefore for the supply and delivery of tablet computers that meet the minimum specifications laid out in section 7.The purpose and scope of this ITT and supporting documents is to explain in further detail the requirements of the British Council and the process for submitting a tender proposal
