Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking tenders for a new Urology Outpatients Department. A tender will be issued to include RIBA Stage 3 design as part of a JCT Design and Build Contract. A significant number of Employers Requirements will include a full set of ABD Room Data Sheets and named products including electrical, sanitary and ironmongery components as required by the Trust maintenance provider. Bidders are expected to provide a fixed price and meet a number of essential criteria relating to out of hours delivery, use of site set up and welfare along with maintaining critical access and car parking spaces issued in the Pre-Construction Information by the Trust Principal Designer. Full details of Soft Landings and protocols to take ownership of the BIM model and BREEAM input to handover on completion will be defined in the tender.

The team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust will be cancelling the tender for Project: C237097, Elective Recovery Urology Outpatients, as of 10am Wednesday on the 14th February 2024.The project scope, deliverables and financial-forecast have materially changed, and therefore the supply solution has been revised due to these amends to the timescales and funding: The Project Board, with support from the Head of Procurement, have concluded the proposed procurement and delivery model is no longer required.
