UK SBS wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of high value laboratory equipment (high value meaning GBP 200 001.00 upwards). UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the 'Regulations').

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) shall be in operation for a period of 2 years with the option to extend + 1 + 1 years.

The DPS will be broken down into 41 categories

If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your request to participate, you will be invited to submit tenders for relevant service requirements through a call for competition.

The DPS is open to any supplier to request to participate throughout its 2-year duration. The initial deadline, which has passed, for requests to participate was 11.00 on 19 November 2020, although this is the initial joining phase, suppliers are able to submit their proposal at any time during the life of the contract.

The DPS does not guarantee any minimum spend and there will be no form of exclusivity or volume guarantee under this DPS.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

UK SBS wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of high value laboratory equipment (high value meaning GBP 200 001.00 upwards). UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the 'Regulations').

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) shall be in operation for a period of 2 years with the option to extend + 1 + 1 years.

The DPS is open to any supplier to request to participate throughout its 2-year duration. The initial deadline, which has passed, for requests to participate was 11.00 on 19 November 2020, although this is the initial joining phase, suppliers are able to submit their proposal at any time during the life of the contract.

The contract shall be let from 17/03/2021 and subject to any provisions for earlier termination contained in the standard terms, shall continue until 16/03/2023 with an option to extend for 2 years in 1 year increments.

The DPS does not guarantee any minimum spend and there will be no form of exclusivity or volume guarantee under this DPS.

The Contracting Authority expressly reserves the right (i) not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice; and (ii) to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the procurement; and in no circumstances will the Contracting Authority be liable for any costs incurred by any Supplier. If the Contracting authority decides to enter into a Contract with the successful supplier, this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of Bidders. All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts).

Any orders placed under this Dynamic Purchasing System will form a separate contract under the scope of this Framework between the supplier and the specific requesting other contracting body. The values provided for a Dynamic Purchasing System in this notice is only an estimate. We cannot guarantee any business values or volumes.
