Oldbury Site is a former nuclear power station and is managed as a high hazard industrial nuclear facility utilising a strict permit for work system.
The Fire Detection System is Siemens Sinteso fully addressable, networked system which must be maintained and tested in accordance with the British Standard BS5839. The services required include defect rectification, minor works, modifications (including hardware and software changes), as well as provide 24 hour operational support of the fire detection systems at Oldbury Site
The services required include the ability of the supplier to perform programmable changes to Siemens Sinteso fire panel and MM8000 fire system interface PC software. To carrying these changes the supplier must hold the necessary licence keys.

Magnox Limited have issued this Prior Information Notice to ascertain the availability of suppliers that have capability to maintain and upgrade the current installed Siemens Sinteso fully addressable, networked system that is currently installed at our Oldbury site.
Suppliers responding to this notice must hold the necessary Siemens licence keys to be considered for shortlisting to be invited to tender.
