The winning Supplier ('Contractor'(s)) must provide the service in accordance with the Department of Health document HTM 07-01: Safe Management of Healthcare Waste, encompassing any new legislation, regulation, best practice, and the requirements set out in the Technical Specification. The Contractor will be solely responsible for Healthcare Waste from the time it is collected. This must include the safe and secure disposal of any residues, until final disposal. The Contractor must execute all duties properly and have permanent and Contractual stand-by arrangements to support the normal disposal routes.
