Project for a Wellbeing Network that forms a key part of Hackney and City's mental health service provision, which would be available to City and Hackney residents.

The Wellbeing Network will help people to build resilience and prevent the onset of mental health problems  and alleviate issues such as low mood, stress and anxiety.  The Network will also support people with severe and enduring mental health problems.

The Wellbeing Network is also aimed at addressing Health inequalities and the burden on many underrepresented communities, which has increased as a result of the pandemic.  It will reach population groups, such as minority ethnic populations, that other services sometimes do not.  By engaging with community and voluntary sector organisations the Wellbeing Network will reach otherwise underserved communities and assists  the work of partners in the sector.

Furthermore, by providing a comparatively holistic service, the Wellbeing Network will be able to better meet the needs of individuals and address some of the risk factors within communities.  The Network is very  relevant to many of the measures from the PH outcomes framework, including but not limited to:

-    Healthy life expectancy

-    Employment

-    Sickness absence

-    Domestic abuse

-    Isolation and loneliness

-    Substance misuse

-    Hospital admissions
