North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is working for and on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement North West (Health and Justice Team) (the Contracting Authority) to conduct market engagement to obtain input and feedback in preparation for the tender of the below contract:- NHSE592 Mental Health Services in Prisons Lot 1 - Mental Health Services for HMP Liverpool (£2,450,000 per annum) Lot 2 - Mental Health Services for HMP Haverigg (£800,000 per annum) Lot 3 - Mental Health Services for HMP Buckley Hall (£760,000 per annum) Lot 4 - Mental Health Services for HMP Hindley (£760,000 per annum) Lot 5 - Mental Health Services for HMP Manchester (£1,742,000 per annum) Annual Contract Value - £6,512,000 The Contracting Authority would like to gather soft intelligence from the market and are publishing a Request for Information (RFI). The RFIs and further documentation including draft service specifications for each of the services will be available on the Intend Portal https://in-tendhost.co.uk/nhsnecsu/aspx/home. Providers will be able to select the appropriate RFI for the service/s they wish to respond to. The RFIs will be available from 04 March 2021 and the deadline for responses will be 12 Noon 26 March 2021. Please note that all communications and RFI submissions will be conducted via the Intend Portal. The portal can be accessed at any time of the day and it is free to register. Please note that this exercise is not part of any pre-qualification process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for provider organisations to help inform potential future service models and/or commissioning intentions.
