six.3) Additional information

This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
Urgency due to short notice staff vacancies that could not be recruited into, combined with other providers being unable to meet the capacity required to maintain a safe and timely service for patients.
Short term contract (04/02/2025 to 31/03/2025) necessary to maintain suitable services while a competitive process being completed.
Decision to proceed with urgent award made by the CEO/CFO/Executive Cabinet.
No confirmed conflicts of interest. To address potential conflicts of interest all staff within the Trust are asked to complete conflict of interest forms and secondary employment forms where applicable. These are held on a register which is monitored by the Audit and Risk Governance Committee and managed by the Information governance and Human Resources departments.
