The aim of the Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey is to provide a time-series and a public record of how the attitudes and behaviour of adults in Northern Ireland develop on a wide range of social policy issues. The survey is designed to provide: 1. A local resource for use by the general public; 2. Trusted and independent evidence to inform policy making;3. A data source to inform an academic debate. The survey currently has a large number of users both within the academic sector and more widely. This includes academic experts within the fields of Sociology, Social Policy, Politics and Psychology; policy-makers in district councils, government departments and other agencies; grass-roots community groups; lobbyists; students and schoolchildren; journalists and others needing background data for their work. The survey website can be found at www.ark.ac.uk/nilt.The purpose of this procurement is to appoint a Research Contractor to conduct the survey on behalf of Queen’s
