West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to commission a supplier for a Residential Solar collective buying scheme across West Yorkshire. This project is in support of The Combined Authority’s strategic target to be net-zero carbon by 2038. The scheme will drive down the cost through collective purchasing of solar panels and accelerate the deployment of these technologies across the region, providing the homeowner with a financially viable and fast-tracked solution delivering on the Combined Authority’s net zero targets.

The supplier will be expected to run a marketing campaign and identify properties that will help maximize program and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) outputs for the Combined Authority. They will deliver the installations to a high standard and ensure a timely rectification of any defects following the installations, as well as providing good customer service post installation.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to commission a supplier for a Residential Solar collective buying scheme across West Yorkshire. The supplier will deliver and install at least 300 domestic solar systems across West Yorkshire by 31 March 2025.There is a potential for the contract to be extended beyond the currently approved scheme, should additional funding become available in the future.

· MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) registered

· Experience in attracting private sector leverage

· Experience in delivering to diverse communities
