The Trust recruits approximately 2,000 new staff per year including 600 nurses, health visitors and midwives through a process which takes up to 128 days from an offer of employment being made to someone starting work. This is a labyrinthine and resource intensive process, which cuts across Human Resources, the relevant service, Occupational Health, IT and Facilities and includes a number of points of failure. NCA is looking for a solution to address issues experienced with the onboarding process.
