two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Supply and install of play equipment and fencing shall do so in accordance with BS EN 1176 & BS EN 1177 standards.

The equipment will be steel manufactured, galvanised and powered coated with low lead paint to BS EN 1176 standard and shall ensure a minimum lifespan of 10 years. All fixings must be made from stainless steel compliant with BS EN 10088-3.

All (Multi Use Games Area) MUGA must comply with BS EN15312 for ball court construction. Fencing surrounding the MUGA must comprise of posts made from 95mm Box Section minimum, with a wall thickness of 6 mm minimum and pre-galvanized with a minimum lifespan of 10 years. Mesh must be galvanized and secured to the posts with anti-vibration fixings.

All wooden structures shall be constructed from tanalised timber.
