The Cranmer Education Trust
We are a growing school Trust in East Manchester. We are currently 3 forms of entry in our Oldham primary schools and by September 2022, we will be 3 large secondary schools, including a brand new free school, The Brian Clarke Church of England Academy. By September 2022 we will need to cater for approximately 2,800 secondary pupils, rising by 240 pupils each year as our new school grows. Whilst not part of this current tender, our Trust’s growth ambition is 10 forms of entry in our primary schools, all within East Manchester, by September 2023. As a result of the exciting developments taking place within the Trust, we are currently seeking a catering partner to work with to initially provide a full, on-site catering service to 2 of our secondary schools within the Trust. The Trust strives for good quality, ethically sourced, home-made meals, as cost effectively as possible and engagement in the food service is an important part of how we drive our improving standards in learning, curriculum and behaviour. However, how we provide the food offering will need to be different at each of these sites and so we have given you the overview from each school’s perspective.
