Explanation:

This service is to deliver end of life support to patients in the west of Cornwall. It follows a national model and delivers circa 25,000hrs of care at £23.19 per hr. The contract includes care (£582,000), service co-ordination in the west (£202,851), service co-ordination for the rest of the county (£172,800) and premises cost (23,400), total £980,378pa.

The ICB are currently working on a county-wide end of life strategy. This will give the ICB a clear pathway for end of life provision which can go to market to procure a future service from 2026. Hence the award of a 2yr contract only.
