The Car Park Portfolio currently consists of 75 station car parks distributed across greater London, including some beyond the M25. The existing infrastructure is reaching its life expectancy with components being superseded with new technology.

The renewal of the infrastructure (lighting columns, light heads and CCTV) within Places for London's station car park portfolio to upgrade life expiring assets aims to significantly reduce operational costs and installation cost, as well as support Places' and Transport for London's objective to meet its Net Zero target by 2040, through minimising Carbon footprint of both installation and ongoing operations.
