The service to be provided is an advocacy service for adults, which includes the following types of advocacy support:

• Care Act Advocacy

• Independent Mental Health Advocacy

• Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy

• NHS Complaints Advocacy

• Relevant Person's Representatives

• Rule 1.2 Representatives

• General Advocacy

The annual block contract value of the contract is £400,000 plus inflation to be applied prior to contract award, reviewable in accordance with the Service Agreement.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This procurement is undertaken under Chapter 3 of Part 2 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (also known as the "light touch" regime). The process adopted uses the primary methodology of an open tender, but the Council reserves the right to make such adjustments as are required to facilitate the process. The Council will ensure that the tender process is, and will remain, fair and transparent.

It is the Council's view that TUPE applies to this procurement and relevant information is provided within the Tender documents.
