Reason for not signing contract
The reasons for the abandonment are as follows:
• Tendered prices were significantly higher than the pre tender estimate.
• As a result, the procurement should have been conducted as an above threshold opportunity and cannot be awarded under the original process.
• The Council therefore intends to re tender the requirement under a compliant above threshold procedure.
