Merseytravel are looking to appoint a supplier to undertake the maintenance duties for SCADA with the appropriate expertise available within the contractual timeframes. It is expected that a 3 year contract (with the option to extend for one year) will be awarded. Typical projects may include the integration into SCADA of the new LED lighting scheme in QW, revision of the control and monitoring of new Jet Fans with VSDs in KW, and the inclusion of UPS and backup generator systems in other Merseytravel locations onto SCADA.

The appointed contractor will have extensive experience of tunnel Installations (preferably with knowledge of the Mersey Tunnels installations) be in a strong financial position, and have demonstrable experience of SCADA and PLC systems in tunnel environments.
