The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission will see an investment in broadcasting equipment for committee rooms and Chambers to support improved services and access for Members, Assembly staff, media organisations and the public. Much of the existing equipment has been in place since 2008 with parts of the audio having been in place since 1998. The investments will include audio systems, cameras and associated infrastructure equipment along with design, installation, build and integration as required. This will take the form of multiple projects.

The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission will see an investment in broadcasting equipment for committee rooms and Chambers to support improved services and access for Members, Assembly staff, media organisations and the public. Much of the existing equipment has been in place since 2008 with parts of the audio having been in place since 1998. The investments will include audio systems, cameras and associated infrastructure equipment along with design, installation, build and integration as required.
This will take the form of multiple projects including but not limited to.
• The design, build, installation and integration of a new Committee Room, to include audio systems, cameras and associated infrastructure including a production gallery and remote production workflow.
The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is interested in using a similar design and systems to refurbish the existing Committee Rooms and production galleries (audio, camera etc) to secure interoperability between all of the broadcast enabled rooms.
• The design, build, installation and integration of a new audio system, cameras and associated infrastructure for the main Assembly Chamber including refurbishment of the existing production gallery, including options for remote production workflows.
The procurement routes for these projects may be designed around frameworks or lots.
