The Consortium Academy Trust are passionate about providing the best outcomes for all of their students and ensuring that staff have the opportunity to support other Schools whilst also developing their own skills.

The Trust seek partnerships with like-minded Schools that are committed to School improvement for the development of staff and students alike. The Trust recognise and encourage the individual differences between Schools, but these must be underpinned by high standards and successful approaches to improving learning and outcomes.

Three of the potential contract sites have not yet liaised with their on-site teams and therefore are anonymised at this stage. As such, no details of this SQ should not be disclosed to persons from outside of your organisation.

The successful Supplier will be required to provide Catering services for The Consortium Academy Trust at the following locations: -

Cottingham High & Sixth Form

A School that provides all students with exciting opportunities that build confidence, develop skills and promote academic excellence.

Additional Site 1

A happy, caring School that aims to provide challenging and exciting learning opportunities for all.

Based in Hull, the 300+ students come from both Hull and the East Riding. The Schools expectations are high and the team the School want children to leave with a thirst for knowledge, a love of learning and as responsible citizens.

Hessle High

At the heart of our teaching is the desire to instil in our students a passion for learning and helping them to become successful.

Based in East Yorkshire, Hessle High School is an inclusive School where students have many opportunities to develop their skills and abilities. The School are proud of their achievements; not only in exam success, but also in offering all students a relevant learning experience for the future. Hessle Sixth Form College, which is part of The Consortium, offers students the opportunity to study a wide variety of vocational and academic subjects.

Penshurst Primary

By instilling in children a passion for learning, we help them to become successful learners.

Complete with a nursery facility, Penshurst offers an engaging environment right from a child’s first steps in education. A restorative practice School, Penshurst offers Students the ability to identify their own learning interests and skills and develop them.

Holderness Academy & Sixth Form

Holderness Academy and Sixth Form College is a large comprehensive School with 1287 students on roll, including 169 in the Sixth Form. The Academy is situated in East Riding of Yorkshire and located in the small village of Preston – a village which dates back before the Domesday Book. It sits six miles to the East of Hull and one mile from the town of Hedon.

Howden School

Howden is a small 11-16 academy serving its community in the East Riding, with over 650 students on roll. Howden is a popular School and all at the School are proud of Howden's excellent record of academic and sporting success which prepares students for their future. Examination results at the end of Year 11 are above the national average and increasing.

This is a friendly village School close to both the maritime history of Hull and the beautiful East Yorkshire coast, proud of its roots in the local community. The School Published Admission Numbers are assumed to be 180.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

The contracting authority reserves the right not to award any or part of the contract which is the subject of this contract notice and reserves the right to terminate the procurement process at any time

The contracting authority will not be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest in tendering for this contract opportunity.

The contracting authority will consider variant bids, evaluating them (so far as the variant or the evaluation of the variant is in the opinion of the contracting authority practicable) on the same basis as a conforming bid, but shall not be obliged to accept any such bid in preference to a conforming bid even if the variant bid scores more highly. No variant will be considered unless the bidder simultaneously submits a conforming bid.
