two.1.4) Short description
Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is an arms-length body sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, established at the beginning of 2019, and also engages with the HM Treasury on policy matters relating to Financial capability.
MaPS is organising a series of pre-market engagement events in the coming days. The second event will be for (Money Guiders) Learning Technologies and Services. Further details are as follows.
a) Digital learning content production and management: We would like to meet suppliers that can provide learning design experience and create digital training and learning assets, from bite-sized/micro-learning to modular courses.
For example:
- instructional design and authoring tools for custom/bespoke trackable eLearning (SCORM & xAPI)
- interactive knowledge and skills frameworks that enable personalised learning journeys
- video-based training
- media assets e.g. video, animation, audio, eDocuments e.g. downloadable PDFS, ebooks, assessments (for and of learning)
We would also like to meet suppliers that provide tools that enable non-technical staff to digitise content swiftly, tools for managing content libraries, and for tracking and managing content lifecycle.
b) Learning and community systems/ platforms: We would like to meet suppliers that provide learning platforms that can deliver:
- secure registration for high volumes of users from multiple external organisations
- personalised learning journeys
- interactive knowledge and skills frameworks to support personalised learning
- learner participation in social learning and community building through peer-to-peer connection and communication e.g., user forums, special interest groups, user recommendations, content ratings
- a wide range of online learning experiences and assets, including trackable eLearning (SCORM & xAPI) assessments, video-based training, media assets e.g. video, animations, audio files, e-Documents
- online assessments, including the use of question banks and timed assessments
- record an individual's learning completion, achievement and learning community participation
- searchable learning resource repositories or knowledge banks
reward and recognition e.g. certificates, digital badges/credentials, awards for completing training and learning activities and courses
- mechanisms for peer-to-peer praise and kudos, badging/labelling of 'super' users with e.g. high-level technical skills, active participation in the online community, local knowledge
c) Managed learning services: We would like to meet suppliers that provide managed learning services, learning administration and customer support for high volumes of users from multiple external organisations. This includes the provision of professional services and multi-disciplinary & and specialist resources that can deploy and implement learning systems and technologies.
