Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council (BCP Council), are at an early stage in reviewing options for future Bereavement Services procurement opportunities and seeks input from the market via Early Market Engagement (EME) to develop the way forward in presenting and scoping future Bereavement Services procurement opportunities. This EME will also provide an opportunity for BCP Council to obtain insight into how potential contractors might approach the delivery of the service.

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) has initiated a review of its bereavement services offer and is looking to market test the operating model for BCP Bereavement Care Services, by looking at potential future investment options and alternative operational delivery models.
The purpose of this engagement is to gather funeral services industry expertise, innovative solutions, and feedback. The results from this early market engagement process will form part of the information that is reviewed by BCP Cabinet later this year when the next steps in this process will be agreed.
Respondents interested in providing feedback must complete and return the questionnaire provided by 14:00 on Monday 11th March 2024 at the latest. Upon receiving and analysing supplier responses, we may schedule follow-up discussions to delve deeper into specific areas of interest or clarification.
