Tower Hamlets Council is seeking a suitably experienced and skilled provider to provide the following. This contract will entail supply, install, modify, commission and document the upgrade of the existing microwave radio CCTV transmission network to support the upgrade of cameras following a detailed multicast network design provided by others . This work is required as part of the CCTV upgrade from analogue to digital technology.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

Supply, install, modify, commission and document the upgrade of the existing microwave radio CCTV transmission network to support the upgrade of cameras following a detailed multicast network design provided by others . This work is required as part of the CCTV upgrade from analogue to digital technology.

This includes all supply, installation, programming and commissioning network switches, along with Small form-factor pluggable (SFPs), patch leads, power leads.

• Installation requirements: 5 years manufacturer’s warranty

The types of microwave radio systems to be deployed are as follows (full specification below):

• Type A - Street-level gigabit V-band 60GHz (maximum distance 650m) or 70GHz E-band radios (for distances greater than 650m) point-to-point with installed with licenced upgrade to 1Gbps aggregated throughput as indicated above.

• Type B - Gigabit-in-a-Box V-Band 60GHz dynamic auto-aligning point-to-point microwave radio link

• Type C - 10Gbps 70/80GHz microwave radio installed with capacity licenced upgrade to 10Gbps full duplex fitted with 65cm 50dbi gain antenna
