We will be awarding a framework agreement for the following across 7 lots in the West District:

- Preparing forestry restock sites for planting involving the management of brash and harvesting residues.

- Installation and maintenance of forest drains including installation of new culvert pipes on extraction routes or tracks

- The reinstatement of severely rutted tracks and footpaths following trafficking by heavy machinery (excluding surfaced tracks and trails)

- Clearing of blocked culverts and roadside ditches

- Mulching of invasive species and scrub using a mulching head fitted to a tracked excavator

Lot 1. Wyre, Mortimer and Shropshire Beats

Description

All lots have the same requirement and differ only on size and location. The requirement is as follows for the Wyre, Mortimer and Shropshire Beats:

Preparing forestry restock sites for planting involving the management of brash and harvesting residues.

Installation and maintenance of forest drains including installation of new culvert pipes on extraction routes or tracks

The reinstatement of severely rutted tracks and footpaths following trafficking by heavy machinery (excluding surfaced tracks and trails)

Clearing of blocked culverts and roadside ditches

Mulching of invasive species and scrub using a mulching head fitted to a tracked excavator

Unless otherwise agreed by the Commission in the Call off, all materials, goods, fuels, and consumables, are procured, ordered, delivered, stored, managed and paid for by the Supplier.

Framework operation description

Prices will be in accordance with what is submitted in the Tender response and this pricing will be added to the final contract. There is a breakdown of how we will score your pricing in the ITT. When the lots are awarded there will be 2 suppliers per lot, a first placed and a second placed. The first placed supplier will be awarded the work first and if they do not have the capacity or are not prepared to do the work then it will instead be offered to the second placed supplier.
