Luton Council is committed to providing a fair and equitable procurement process for services that we commission. The Council provides a range of services for vulnerable members of the community that are funded from central government grants. The charitable and voluntary sector, and in some cases the private sector, are able to provide the skills and experience to provide these services more appropriately than the Council and therefore the Council will want to enter into contracts with these organisations to provide the services.
Luton Council Housing Needs Department have designed this Trusted Partner Process in order to maintain a transparent and competitive tender process for short term, quick turnaround, grant funding.
This project is covered by the light touch regime.
