Description

The Public Health Practitioner CPD masterclasses are run to ensure consistent knowledge of core public health competencies in the public health workforce, preparing practitioners for their registration. The workshops procured will be mapped to the public health practitioner standards for registration.

The Public Health UKPHR Specialist Registration by Portfolio Support Programme supports the London workforce to develop future public health consultants; this is a well evaluated programme which provides practical support to manage the complicated process.

Public Health Practitioners undertake a range of work which includes:

• Design, implement and evaluate public health programmes such as health and wellbeing services; smoking cessation initiatives; mental health campaigns.

• Analyse data and trends to pinpoint challenges and influence policy or interventions.

• Work in diverse setting, including NHS services, local government, charities, social enterprise sector and community groups.

Above threshold open competition under the Light Touch Regime using the CPV code 80000000: Education and training services.

70% Technical - 10% Social Value - 20% Commercial.

The procurement will be over 4 lots.

• Lot 1 - Kent, Surry and Sussex - Maximum contract value (including optional extensions) £180,000.00

• Lot 2 - Wessex - Maximum contract value (including optional extensions) £180,000.00

• Lot 3 - Thames Valley - Maximum contract value (including optional extensions) £180,000.00

• Lot 4 - London - £180,000.00 (including optional extensions)

The intension is to award 1 supplier per lot. Tenderers may bid for one or more Lots. There is no limit on the number of Lots that can be awarded to a single supplier.

If a supplier is awarded more than one lot the authority may award a single contract combining lots.

The deadline for submission of completed ITQ submissions is 13th February 2026 at 12:00pm (midday).

Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.

The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITQ.
