Appropriate Adult provision for Vulnerable Adults in West Yorkshire Police custody.

The role of the Appropriate Adult (AA) is to safeguard the interests, rights, entitlements and welfare of children and vulnerable adults who are suspected of a criminal offence, ensuring that they are treated in a fair and just manner, and are able to participate effectively in custody.

Anticipated value: Up to £180,000 per annum

Anticipated contract length: 3 to 5 years

Attached to this PIN is a Request for Information form to be completed and returned to the specified email address by 4PM on the 24th February 2025.

For clarity, this procurement proposal is currently in the development stages, and we wish to gauge interest from potential suppliers – this does not constitute a formal Expression of Interest or Tender process. The route to market has not yet been chosen.
