West Lothian Council are proposing to tender a new multi supplier Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of small vehicle passenger transport services: transport services using vehicles with a capacity of 16 passenger seats or less. The DPS will cover various council areas including Education, Social Policy, Corporate and Housing Services. Transport requirements may include but are not limited to the provision of home to school transport, school to school transfer and any other ad hoc individual requirements.

The DPS will cover various council areas including Education, Social Policy, Corporate and Housing Services. Transport requirements may include but are not limited to the provision of home to school transport, school to school transfer and any other ad hoc individual requirements.
Many transport requirements will involve collecting service users from home addresses and transporting them to one specified location with return journeys later in the day however some will include travelling to various locations in Scotland and will not be restricted to West Lothian only.

The Passenger Transport Service will be holding a tender briefing session for any suppliers interested in applying for the DPS. This session will take place virtually via MS Teams on Thursday 17 February between 10am and 12pm. If you would like to attend this session please email susan.barrett@westlothian.gov.uk confirming your company name, contact name and email address. Further details of the event, including joining instructions, will be sent to all registered suppliers 2 days prior to the event.
