As a part of the continuous development programme, CLF undertakes projects ranging from small upgrades at £10k to £3M through to the development of the Extreme Photonics Applications Centre (EPAC), an £81.2M new build laser facility. The CLF requires the services of a design and analysis consultancy (the ''Supplier'') with excellent knowledge and capability across a broad spectrum of engineering skills. The Supplier will provide personnel to supplement existing CLF engineering capability in operations and to undertake the coordination and delivery of design and analysis packages from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) through to full manufacturing drawings for Projects or Comprehensive Analysis Reports. Mechanical engineering is the predominant area in which CLF requires assistance and is split up into (A) Services and Building Design; (B) High Requirement Design and Analysis. CLF also require assistance with (C) Electrical Engineering; and (D) Control and instrumentation engineering.
