Airedale NHS Foundation Trust (ANHSFT) seeks to commission the provision of Outsourced Clinical Services.
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been published to inform the market that procurement is expected to commence within the next 12 months and to help the Contracting Authority understand the dynamics of the marketplace, degree of competition and to identify potential Suppliers.
Potential Suppliers are encouraged to e-mail Rosanne Buffrey, Senior Contracts Manager - rosanne.buffrey@nhs.net by no later than 12 noon on Friday 28 February 2025 for a copy of our Pre-market Engagement Questionnaire which has been designed to support ANHSFT to;
• Assess the procurement strategy options available (including frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems)
• Gain an insight into current market capacity and innovation
• Develop our specification
• Further understand industry barriers, challenges and risks and the impacting factors and forces.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Outsourced clinical services are a valued resource used to support the reduction and recovery of NHS waiting lists and to support improvements in Referral to Treatment Times.
ANHSFT may require, from time to time, a range of outsourcing options to support operational delivery during periods of service pressure.
The requirements may include the following:
• Inpatient care and procedures
• Diagnostic tests
• Outpatient clinics
It is expected that contracts awarded will vary in value and may range between £30,000 and £1m per annum. This is due complex nature of the NHS, wide variance between NHS National Tariff Prices for different services and multiple influencing factors that are the Contracting Authority cannot control.

This procurement exercise is in planning for Airedale NHS Foundation Trust however this procurement may be extended to include other Trusts and Contracting Authorities within the West Yorkshire Integrated Care System (WYICS).
