The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Carterton Community College.
Carterton Community College is a Secondary School in Carterton, West Oxfordshire, which was founded in 1972. It is celebrating its 50th birthday this year. It is a small Secondary with Sixth Form serving the town of Carterton and rural areas of West Oxfordshire. Carterton is the home of RAF Brize Norton, the largest of the RAF’s stations. The school has a significant number of children from Service families.
The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of service within the existing facilities for the 600 students on roll and 70 teaching and support staff, with a focus flexibility and high standards, The School would wish the successful contractor to review the current range and methodology of services offered and make recommendations accordingly.
The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from September 2022 to August 2025 and will operate as a Fixed Price Contract,
The School year is based on a calendar of 195 days. Five days are to be used for staff professional development which means that School will be open to receive students for the legal minimum of 190 days. There is also scope to provide cleaning services for Summer or Winter Schools as may be on offer from the DfE.
The contract offered covers the scope for the provision of all cleaning services within the School, which Cleaning of all internal areas of the school, including Classrooms, Sports facilities, Laboratories, workshops and offices as well as internal glasswork, communal spaces and corridors.
