In conjunction with Suffolk County Council the ICB are tendering for a Suffolk Dementia Support ServiceThe overall aim of the Suffolk Dementia Support Service is to empower people concerned with their memory, diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or dementia across the county of Suffolk (West and Ipswich and East but excluding Waveney), their carers, and wider family, to live as independently, safely, and well, for as long as possible within their communities.The service will be visible and community facing with a proactive focus on promoting early identification, providing a personalised response, and signposting people to appropriate support within their local neighbourhoods. The submission deadline is 12 noon on Friday 23rd August 2024.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight on 31st January 2025 (8 working days following publication of intention to award notice). They should be submitted in writing to procurement@snee.nhs.uk. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Award decision-makers: SNEE ICB Executive Committee. • No conflicts of interest, or potential conflicts of interest, were declared by any decision makers. The competitive process was undertaken as outlined within the Procurement documentation, which included a review of the Selection Criteria and an Award Assessment which reviewed the Key Criteria as described within the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
