seven.2) Information about modifications

seven.2.1) Description of the modifications

Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

The Parties agree to a 12-month contract extension until the end date of Maximum Extension Period, 31st March 2024. The price payable by the Customer now incorporates £177,015.56 + VAT to cover this 12-month contract extension as well as additional costs. NB, the contract was previously varied in July 2020 (incorporate a section in to the requirements based on the topic of “FCO Assistance and Transactional Data: Additional analysis by ethnicity and disability”) and February 2021 (to incorporate a regional deep dive synthesis of findings: desk research requiring the revisiting of each of the six regional deep dive debriefs, and the reporting of themes and findings).

Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

The Contract had an effective date of 1st April 2020, an end date of Initial Period of 31st March 2023, and an end date of Maximum Extension Period 31st March 2024, which was utilised with written notice provided to the supplier over 4 weeks in advance of the end date of Initial Period (the minimum written notice period).
