In this instance, Leicestershire County Council are looking to procure a new whole family relationship service.
The aim of the service will be to provide comprehensive and preventative support to families in order to promote resilience and address issues of parental conflict. The service should improve the lives of children and young people who are affected by such conflicts.
The Whole Family Relationship Service will cover the whole County of Leicestershire.
The provider will establish a "Whole Family Relationships Service" that includes:
• Pre- and post-natal family relationships and conflict
• Parental and child conflict and sibling conflict, teenage mediation, and a whole family approach
• Support for families, teachers and pupils in schools
We expect the provider to work collaboratively with partners to improve the experience for families through more effective multi-agency working and coordination of services.
The provider should also have experience in working with vulnerable families and children, have good knowledge of local services, and have established relationships with other relevant organisations.
