Wolverhampton City Council wish to purchase an externally hosted Fleet Management System for their in-house Fleet Services department.
The successful provider will supply the Fleet Management System and support the Council with the implementation including the data migration from the legacy fleet system. Ongoing support & maintenance will be provided for the full contract period with development and consultancy services provided as required by the Council.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Wolverhampton City Council wish to purchase an externally hosted Fleet Management System for their in-house Fleet Services department.
The successful provider will supply the Fleet Management System and support the Council with the implementation including the data migration from the legacy fleet system. Ongoing support & maintenance will be provided for the full contract period with development and consultancy services provided as required by the Council.
A replacement system is necessary for the Council to progress towards Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) earned recognition for vehicle operators. The system will also provide improved management information and vehicle life cycle costing.
During the full contract period it may be determined that the Council requires additional modules or further development to enhance the Fleet Management System to deliver a more efficient Fleet service. The Council reserves the right to call off the additional modules and services based on the changing needs of the Council during the full contract period.
The tender process is being carried out as a competitive procedure with negotiation, the Council will invite four bidders to submit an initial tender, please see the Tender Pack for further details.
The full contract period will be 3 years, with the option to extend for 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 years.
