This qualification system has been established to provide the opportunity for contractors/consultants to express their interest in providing works and professional services to Wessex Water. Contractors/consultants are invited to apply for particular categories of works and professional services (as identified against the category as "works" or "professional services") as detailed within the system.

The qualification system may be used for the selection of contractors/consultants to participate in procurement procedures regulated by the Utilities Contract Regulations.

Wessex Water gives no guarantee of tendering opportunities nor the volumes or value of works and professional services being awarded via the qualification system.

Wessex Water will not be liable for the contractors/consultants costs of responding to this Notice or to any subsequent pre-qualification or tender document or other stages of any procurement process.

Wessex Water do not permit duplicate organisation registrations within the portal used for the qualification system. To check whether your organisation is already registered, please email eprocurement@wessexwater.co.uk

Contractors/consultants who are registered on the qualification system may update their own details at any time and can manage access for other users within their organisation.

Precise information on deadline(s) for review procedures

Where required by the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016, Wessex Water Services Limited will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is notified to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period will be for a minimum of ten calendar days, which provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the framework agreement or contract is entered into.

The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 (SI 2016 No 274) provides for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England and Wales).
