Avon & Somerset Police, Dorset Police, Gloucestershire Police and Wiltshire Police are currently undertaking early market engagement and considering various route to market options in order to run a successful procurement process for their future office removal and relocation service requirements. Devon and Cornwall Police already have a contract in place for this requirement so are not included in this procurement process.SWPPS wish to invite potential suppliers who may be interested in assisting with this early market engagement to answer a number of specific questions via a Teams call with SWPPS representatives. The provision of an office removals and relocation service will generally be for planned moves for one of the participating Forces but on rare occasions there may be the need for a move at short notice. Moves will generally be within a single Force area but there may be odd occasions whereby a move of a greater distance is required. The service will include the provision of vehicles and security vetted staff as well as crate hire. Some Forces may also require a disposal / recycling service for redundant furniture and other items. The purpose of the Prior Information Notice (PIN) is for early engagement with the market prior to undertaking a formal tender process which is expected to commence in April 2025. The market engagement is to openly consult with the wider market place to share our requirements and gather information whilst also providing information on our current position. We will be seeking input from the supply market to inform our requirements, to help formulate our specification for the services and help identify routes to market. If you are interested in supporting SWPPS with this engagement, please respond to this PIN by emailing gemma.hawkins@devonandcornwall.pnn.police.uk and we will be in touch with a number of questions so you can do any preparatory work you think necessary before attending a Microsoft Teams meeting to discuss your responses.
