A Service Provider who will act as a single point of contact to ensure that independent stalking advocacy (point of contact/liaison with police/courts in any investigation) and support is provided to victims across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight through the Stalking Advocacy and Support Service. The Stalking Advocacy and Support Service will also build awareness and understanding of stalking, the service available and referral pathways to our partner agencies and support multi-agency risk management processes.

The service should be centred on the following principles:

- Based on respect and dignity for all recipients of services, as well as the staff delivering them.
The provider will need to be flexible and adaptable to ensure the service remains relevant over the course of the contract, for example, legislative changes in respect of coercive control post intimate relationship and how this will impact stalking reporting and convictions. The OPCC will work collaboratively with the successful provider to test innovative ways to improve the lives of victims of stalking. The service must be accessible to all victims of stalking and the OPCC wishes to ensure quality service delivery through the provision of trained and accredited independent advocates, who have appropriate clinical supervision and support to minimise the risk of burn out.
