The OfS requires a Supplier to deliver a national programme to identify and evaluate existing evidence of what is working to support student mental health in the English higher education sector, and then to mobilise this evidence effectively.

The purpose is to:

i.identify and share evidence on the impact of approaches to reduce gaps in continuation, attainment and progression outcomes for students who have declared mental health conditions

ii.ensure that activity proven to be most effective and which delivers the greatest benefits to students is recognised and shared in an accessible way

iii.improve the mobilisation of evidenced practice in different provider contexts

iv.improve rigor of evaluation relating to student mental health interventions to ensure more evidence is generated and shared

v.provide a national voice and advocate for what works to support student mental health, in which contexts and why
