The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit

organisation owned by its Full members consisting of 24 Universities. Our mission is to

deliver value through responsible procurement. NWUPC are conducting market

engagement for the renewal of a framework agreement for High Value Laboratory Equipment

for NWUPC Members and other participating regional consortia- APUC, HEPCW, LUPC,

structure of the tender and the scope of requirements through the use of an engagement

The proposed 2023 framework agreement includes the following proposed lot structure which is a reduction from 21 lots down to 6 lots as follows:

Lot 2: Imaging/Analysis Systems & Microscopy Instruments

Lot 3: X-Ray & Elemental/Micro Analysis Equipment

Lot 4: Spectroscopy

Lot 5: Mechanical Testing Equipment

Lot 6: Radiation Safety & Detection Equipment

Lots 5 and 6 are new areas for the 2023 agreement.
