Merseytravel requires to have a single party framework in place for the purpose of replacing electrical control systems (Variable Speed Drives (VSD)) and associated equipment including cables and SCADA and/or other control equipment initially across sites within the Merseytravel portfolio of buildings, these being Georges Dock, North John Street, NewQuay, Woodside and Sydney Street ventilation stations.

Within each of these locations the installation of one or more VSDs is to form the basis for the works. Each piece of work shall be ‘called-off’ from the Framework.
