Waltham Forest Council are committed to improving the sexual health of our residents and to reducing health inequalities in sexual health outcomes.

Community pharmacies play an important role in supporting residents with their sexual health, improving access to free sexual health services, and providing choice for residents.

Key outcomes of pharmacy sexual health services include reducing prevalence and onward transmission of sexually transmitted infections, reducing unintended pregnancies and increased diagnosis and early management of Chlamydia.
