two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Marine Management Organisation requires a single service provider for the provision of international maritime surveillance services for the Marine Management Organisation to identify inshore and offshore threats to the marine environment this will include the
the provision and subsequent analysis of imagery taken of marine zones. This may include marine zones around c.10 British overseas territories. Currently images are provided using satellite technology.
Purpose of service is to assist monitoring, control and surveillance of vessels engaged in illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.
two.2.14) Additional information
This will be an open procedure tender.
Contract will be offered for an initial two years with option to extend in 2 x 12 months periods. Estimated value is for the two year period.
Contract will work on a call-off basis, with effect from 1 August 2024.
A two week hand-over period may be required with the existing contract supplier, prior to start of new contract.
