NY Highways Limited wishes to award a Contract to a single supplier for the hire of five static hot boxes to be located at 5 separate depots within North Yorkshire. Hot boxes can be powered either by propane gas or diesel with propane gas being the preferred option.

NY Highways is a wholly-owned subsidiary of North Yorkshire County Council. NY Highways will commence operations as North Yorkshire County Council’s Highways Maintenance Contractor from 1st June 2021.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This contract is to provide 5 static hot boxes, located at 5 depot locations within North Yorkshire for long term hire (5 years). Hot boxes will be powered either by propane gas or diesel. The intention is to have each hot box in location for the duration of the contract reducing the need for delivery and collection of units during the contract period. The 5 hot boxes will be required to be in location, commissioned and fully operational by the 30th June 2021.
