The Greater London Authority (GLA) Rough Sleeping team received funding under the Controlling Migration Fund (CMF) to commission three services to support non-UK national rough sleepers for a total value of £1.9m. Following feedback from the sector on our initially proposed services last year, we have now reviewed the services we intend to commission and are now seeking feedback on the suitability of the services and the sector's ability to deliver them through this survey before going to procurement.
All 3 services will be commissioned for 18 months- approximately from October 2021 to March 2023. The three lots will be:
1. Holistic Assessment Service- £1,225k to commission a project providing emergency accommodation and wrap-around assessment and support for non-UK national rough sleepers with medium to high support needs and unclear entitlements/immigration status;
2. Training programme for homelessness and migrant sectors- £53k to commission a training programme to up-skill the homelessness and migrant sectors on supporting non-UK national rough sleepers; and
3. Roma Rough Sleepers Mediator Service- £622k to commission a specialist outreach and support service for Roma rough sleepers.
The deadline to reply to this survey will be 22/02 at 5pm.
We will also be organising a supplier engagement event for prospective bidders and other interested parties on 24/02 2:30pm to 4:30pm. To be invited please fill in the last question of this survey and save the date.
