The purpose of this advert is to announce a requirement for a Ministry of Defence (MOD) Publicly Available Information (PAI) Indicators and Warnings (I&W) toolset. This is the first PIN as part of an initial preliminary market engagement.
The MOD requires an Open-Source Intelligence service that provides timely Indicators and Warnings (I&W) from publicly available information (PAI) sources. The I&W toolset will be web-based (accessible by any web browser) and enable the MOD to exploit a variety of real time sources. The solution will generate defence related alerts and feeds from a broad scope of emerging events with worldwide coverage. Alerts and feeds will be delivered in a variety of methods, include platform generated verification scoring and enable content to be translated from native script into English.
The user will access alerts and data via API, have the ability to continuously customise alerts and feeds, set priority levels, and conduct trend analysis of historical alerting data. Users will be provided initial training (preferably online) and additional training, as required. MOD administrators will determine user logs, monitor/audit account usage and carry out general user management activities. Delivery and filtering of alerts and feeds will be accessible via Apple IOS, Android devices and through MOD accredited IT systems.
The I&W toolset procurement is currently in its initiation phase and it is anticipated that Contract Award will be in June 22 for a duration of three (3) years.
