two.1.4) Short description
The London Borough of Hackney Children and Family Services has reviewed and redesigned its supported accommodation pathway for looked after children, care leavers and single homeless young people aged 16-21 to meet the changing needs of young people. The London Borough of Hackney is therefore seeking to work in partnership with suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver support accommodation services for its young people.
The successful providers will be expected to be flexible and responsive to a diverse client base ensuring that the young people are at the heart of the service.
The pathway consists of:
• Lot 1: Assessment Service
• Lot 2: Progression - A specialist service for 16–17-year-olds
• Lot 3: Progress Services 18+
• Lot 4: Young Parents
• Lot 5: Move On.
The eventual contract will be awarded for five (5) years with the option to extend services for a further two (2) years. The estimated total value over the seven (7) year period is £14,493 million. It is intended that the new contracts will commence 1st February 2021.
